Art Matters - deYoung Field Trip

Notre Dame High School

At Notre Dame, interdisciplinary field trips are offered at each grade level to extend academic curriculum into experiential learning and application. The sophomore field trip, Art Matters, takes students to the DeYoung Museum in San Francisco, CA. There, students will deepen their appreciation of art, identify connections and applications with their humanities courses, practice life skills and continue their ongoing exploration of careers and future pathways. These field trips will take place on Thursday, Jan. 22 and Friday, Jan. 23. We are looking for volunteers to help chaperone throughout the museum and during the commute. The number of volunteers needed may change depending on how many faculty and staff are available to chaperone. You will be contacted if there is a change.
